Quinta da Marinha (0,5 km)Quinta da Marinha is purely natural 5,870 metre 18-hole Golf course with big challenges. Designed by the legendary architect Robert Trent Jones, this 71 par course has fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Sintra Mountain Range.
Oitavos Dunes (3 km)The objective of Arthur Hills was to create one of the best golf courses in Europe, consisting of elegant natural landscapes and the history of the Quinta da Marinha. The course stretches across a continuous chain of holes, nine to the North and nine to the South, a structure similar to the true Scottish links. The sequence is a marvellous golfing experience from beginning to end. Stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighbouring Sintra mountain ranges are visible from all 18 holes. The course has pride in affirming that each one of its holes incisively and consistently contributes to a unique golfing experience known as ‘Quinta da Marinha Oitavos Golf’.
Golfe do Estoril (9 km)Estoril Golf is one of the oldest and most emblematic golf courses in Portugal, the scene of numerous prestigious events. Designed by the famous architect Mackenzie Ross, this sensational par 69, 18-hole course, covers an area of 5313 metres and is surrounded by lush vegetation including mimosas, pines and eucalyptus trees.
Penha Longa (10 km)Classified as one of the 30 best golf courses in continental Europe, the ‘Atlântico’ designed by the celebrated Robert Trent Jones Jr, represents the golfing dream at its height. With its bold drives, intrepid approaches and well conceived greens, the course is a combination of adrenalin discharge and relaxation on one of the most inspirational golf courses landscapes in Portugal. The opening holes and scintillating 18th contrast a tree-lined valley within the shadow of the rocky mountain range, the other holes arching away through the perfumed hillside. This emotional and challenging course also hosts the Portuguese Open and is considered exceptionally masterful for the variety of emotions it evokes. Its equally beautiful but considerably less demanding sister course, the nine-hole Mosteiro, is a perfect companion.
The foot of the verdant Sintra Mountain range provides an enchanting scenario for the Quinta da Beloura Golf course. The famous American architect Rocky Roquemore designed a round of golf that will extend your imagination as much as your ability on this challenging yet very pleasant course. This undulating Par 73, 18 hole, 5573 metre course is flanked by Eucalyptus, Oak, Pine, Magnolias, Palms and Olive trees amongst other types of exotic trees and plants. Water comes into play on many of the holes, winding between the many lakes and brooks which line the fairways. The course is automatically irrigated by its own lakes guaranteeing that the Tifton 419 fairways are always fresh and green and ensuring that the putting greens are protected by adequate vegetation. The course also has excellent practice facilities, with specialised professionals at your disposal. The course has a magnificent Clubhouse as well as a Golf Shop where you can buy and rent your playing equipment.
Belas Clube de Campo (29 km) Belas Clube de Campo is a par 72, 18-hole, 6380 metre Championship Golf course. Designed by William “Rocky” Roquemore, the course has an exceptional layout with fairways and greens embedded within profound valleys, providing unforgettable panoramic views. It’s both a very complete and diversified course, pleasing all players irrespective of their handicap. Requiring technique and strategy, it is nationally and internationally recognised as one of the best golf courses in Portugal. Belas Clube has additional attractions such as a clubhouse, spas, golf shop, restaurant, bar, school, putting green and a driving range with a bunker and chipping area.
The Golf Course Lisbon Sports Club is located in the Serra da Carregueira, over 5261 meters, with a very rich forest biodiversity. The layout of the field is that of a typical Scottish countryside. It is characterized by having holes with quite different designs, which means game situations very different and that there is interbreeding between some holes, allowing players to encounter along the course.
