The "House of Stories" is a building from the architect Eduardo Souto Moura and is considered the most international museum space in Cascais.

This "House of Stories" is a museum designed by the artist Paula Rego to display her work and her husband's, Victor Willing.

In this museum you can not only enjoy the areas of permanent and temporary exhibitions but also a cafeteria, a library, a shop and an auditorium. In addition, there is also a set of enablers initiatives and guided tours available for visitors.

The Museum Condes of Castro Guimarães is located in the Marechal Carmona Park and is the oldest museum of Cascais, opened since 1931.

Also known as "Tower of St. Sebastian", this is a building of romantic architecture that fascinates its visitors by the mixture of styles that provides and by the surrounding mystique.

Inside, you can see many pieces of art and furniture from various eras that were acquired by the Condes of Castro Guimarães when they lived there.

The Santa Marta Lighthouse Museum is open to the public since 2007 and is unprecedented in Portugal, as retains both its coastal signaling function and has exhibition spaces.

Its exhibition area is divided into two parts: one for the Portuguese lamps in general, its history and technological aspects and the other intended only to the Santa Marta Lighthouse and the work of its lighthouse keeper.

In addition to these two areas, the Museum also offers a gift shop and an auditorium where you can watch a film that tells the testimony of many lighthouse keepers.

The Marechal Carmona Park results from the junction of the Gardens from the Palace Condes og Castro Guimarães and the terrain from Gandarinha and since then it is known for its touch of romance and for being a recreational and leisure space.

Inside the park can be seen wide green spaces with romantic paths.

In addition, there is also a Children and Youth Municipal Library, a cafeteria, a picnic area, a field for traditional games and a playground.

The Sea Museum of Cascais was in 1997 renamed the Museum of the Sea - King D. Carlos.

The Museum is divided into 5 main rooms: the "Cascais on Wrecks Route" whose theme is underwater archaeology; the "People of the Sea - Fisheries" which focuses on the stories of the fishing community of Cascais; the "Navigation and Seamanship" which highlights historical and technical aspects; the "D. Carlos and Oceanographic Science" where is deposited not only the old oceanographic collection of the King but also a set of images and reconstructive files from the King's life aboard the yatch Amelia; the "The Sea and the Origin of Life" whose space is dedicated to the presentation of a collection of marine fossils.

The Palace of Cascais Citadel, once a building with military function, then the home of the governor of Cascais Citadel, and currently a space under the authority of the Presidency, was rehabilitated for the last time in 2004.

Inside, you can watch several temporary exhibitions, take part in different thematic initiatives and also participate in guided tours.

Is next to the Citadel, on the sidewalk Crown Prince Luís Filipe that you can observe the first Portuguese tide gauge, built in 1882.
